Nothing will warm you up during a cold day just like a nice cup of coffee in a beautiful cozy café. Here are some of our favorite places where to get one!

Café Club Míšeňská

If you are looking for a cozy place with reasonable prices in a center of Prague, look no further because you have just found one. Café Club Míšeňská is place which became popular between young locals, because even though it is basically right next to Charles bridge, which several thousand people cross every day, it is one of a few places, where you can escape from a busy life in center and you can relax for a bit.

Around noon Café Club Míšeňská is ideal to get a coffee and read a book, but later during the day this place turns more into a friendly bar which stays open until midnight and where you can get a nice beer and some mixed cocktails.

It is also just around a corner from our office so we highly recommend you to visit this place either before or after one of our tours!

Mlýnská kavárna

After you visit Kampa island, which is itself very worth seeing, don’t forget to go to Mlýnská kavárna, which is a very unique place both for a nice coffee or a beer later during evening.

Mlýnská kavárna is set inside of an old water mill on a small stream called Čertovka, which separates the Kampa island from the rest of a Malá Strana. This place recently became thanks to its location and style a favorite spot for young artsy people and intellectuals.

Because Mlýnská kavárna has a very popular concept in Czech Republic of combining a café and a bar, you can try out from a wide selection of snacks that are good both with coffee and beer. It also stays open until midnight, so you have a lot of time to spend there a nice evening.

If you want to learn more about Kampa and the stream Čertovka, you can hear all about that on our Charles Bridge River Boat Cruise & Guided Tour!

Cathedral Café

If you happen to be in a center of Prague at morning and you feel like getting a nice breakfast or brunch with coffee, pay a visit to Cathedral Café!

Despite its location, just a minute walk from Old Town Square, it is very calm and beautiful place with both summer and covered winter garden.

We definitely recommend you trying something from their breakfast menu, such as their delicious English breakfast. Even though the prices are a little bit higher above the average, this place is definitely worth your visit.

Thanks to its location, it is also a perfect place where to go after our Prague Underground, Astronomical Clock & The Bridge tour which ends at Old Town Square!

Choco Café

For those, who like an atmosphere of a café but don’t drink coffee or maybe have kids with them, who deserve a sweet treat, try out Choco Café which as their name suggests focuses on hot chocolate!

They offer a wide selection of different hot chocolates some with a special flavor, some with hot fruit inside of them and if you care about the highest quality of your hot chocolate and where exactly the cocoa beans were harvested, you can even choose a hot chocolate from a specific plantation or farm!

Also, there is not one, but two locations of this café where you can go to. The first one is between Old Town Square and Charles Bridge and so it is at ideal location for you to go to after our Prague Underground, Astronomical Clock & The Bridge tour and Charles Bridge River Boat Cruise & Guided Tour. And the second one is very close to Prague Castle so its perfect for you after our Prague Castle Grounds & Highlights tour!

They also sell the chocolate chips from which the hot chocolate is made of, so it is also a perfect gift that you can bring home from your vacation.
